England, according to data released by the Library of Birmingham, England, they have banned three membership because of stung body odor. The three men were forbidden to enter the library because it is considered to have a personal hygiene problem.
Director of the Birmingham Library, Brian Gambles, said his place is a public place that is busy with visitors. Therefore, he and his staff strive to keep the environmental conditions conducive to the common interest.
However, in some cases, despite having been warned many times some people refuse to change their behavior. If it is so the library was forced to eject people from the neighborhood library.
"Most visitors show respect for this building, staff, and other visitors. Therefore we actually rarely have to take action reject someone from the building," said Gambles told the Birmingham Mail and quoted on Monday (12/29/2014).
"It's just we do as a last resort if the behavior of the visitors have been unlawful, unacceptable, or even dangerous for the staff or other visitors," he added.
Related to this, the similar actions have also done in other places such as the city of Burien, United States, only more extreme. Legislation the new town out in the middle of 2014 prohibits people with body odor in a public place and there are up to one year imprisonment for violators.
Burien City Manager, Kamuron Karia said the law is applied to maintain order and cleanliness of the city.
"People unfortunately have a pungent body odor making it very difficult for anyone else to be in the same room," said Karia.
