There is an interesting story behind Santa's tracking system. Santa Tracker was first made in 1955. At that time, the United States Air Force (US) shocked the phone number of the children were asked where Santa Claus.

Apparently, the central phone number of US Air Force was leaked into the hands of children as printing errors advertising a company. The numbers are displayed on a notice in the Gazette, Colorado Springs.

Instead of demanding and impose sanctions, the US military have committed acts of praise. They idly explained that they would use the 'Radar Santa' to find out the position of Santa Claus.

They also patiently answered questions of children, whether the sleigh of Santa Claus will come to their home or not. Children also believe the answers given, because the answer came from officials who oversee the sky, a place where Santa Claus usually appear.

Colonel Harry Shoup, Director of the US Air Defense Command Operations then later gave an official order that the staff 'track' journey Santa Claus from the North Pole to the whole world through the radar system.
