When Online , Men are More Desperate than Women

A report on the differences between men and women related to security when online indicates that men are more willing to take risks, while women tend to play more safely .

According to a study in Europe , women as  enthusiastic as men in terms of using the internet , but their behavior is different .

Kaspersky Lab in collaboration with the University of Wuerzburg , Germany , developed a report on the differences in the behavior of men and women when online .

The main findings of the report indicate that while men tend to seek entertainment online , games , and sexual content while women look for communication and interaction with their friends or partner .

" During the study period , men reported various types of malware attacks two times more than women . The women are expected to be more responsible , obedient , and their indulgence in lust , "explains Professor Dr . Frank Schwab , media psychologist from the University of Wuerzburg .

" And therefore , depends on a person's gender , they perform a specific role , and this results in stereotypes of gender differences , " he continued .

So who is right , if the result is too big risks mean big ?

In terms of risk , the women prefer to submit it to the man . Why do women take risks that could put them in danger when there is a man who volunteered to risk it for them ?

The way in which the women when online is not only safer , but said the research also promises a longer life .

In addition , the nature lover in women produce more communicative behavior and more attention both as online and offline .

According to David Emm , Security Researcher at Kaspersky Lab, there is an increased risk of infection when opening certain sites - including porn and gambling sites .

That makes the site unsafe not only because of its content , but the fact that these sites attract visitors in large quantities , and when visitors high , there must be cyber criminals .

" On sites like these cyber criminals find a large number of their potential victims , and on sites like this psychology also are potential victims at the hands of cyber criminals , " continued David .

The victims are usually not going to complain if they are infected computers when opening the sites above , or would not complain if they become a victim of fraud ( scam ) when opening the pornographic content .

However , the safety factor remains an important topic for all , especially for men , who tend to forget or ignore the security risks . In general , anti-virus software must be installed on any device connected to the Internet .
